2. Service Description
Sneaker Scanner is an AI-powered service that analyzes images of sneakers to provide identification, specifications, value estimates, and authentication indicators. Results are generated by AI and may not always be accurate.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes, not upload inappropriate or harmful content, and not attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4. Disclaimer
Sneaker identifications, value estimates, and authentication indicators are AI-generated and provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any identification. Do not rely solely on our service for authentication or purchasing decisions.
5. Disclaimer Agreement
By using Sneaker Scanner, you also agree to the terms outlined in our AI Identification Disclaimer. The Disclaimer includes important information about the limitations of our AI-powered identifications and of every other piece of information presented on Sneaker Scanner — including the encyclopedia, reference pages, guides, articles, and community submissions — all of which may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information and must not be relied on as expert, safety, medical, legal, or financial advice. The Disclaimer is an integral part of these Terms, and your use of Sneaker Scanner is subject to your acceptance of both.
6. Encyclopedia and Reference Content
Sneaker Scanner may include an encyclopedia, reference pages, guides, articles, and other informational content (“Reference Content”). Reference Content is compiled and generated with the help of automated tools and AI models and is provided for general informational purposes only. It may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information, and it has not been reviewed by qualified experts. We make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Reference Content or of any other information presented on Sneaker Scanner, and you agree not to rely on it as a substitute for professional advice or for any decision that could affect your health, safety, property, legal rights, or finances. Images shown with Reference Content may be illustrative rather than exact matches. If you believe something is wrong, please let us know at support@sneaker-scanner.com and we will review it.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of images you upload. By uploading images and making identifications public, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display them on our platform. The full license you grant us is described in the section titled “License Grant to Sneaker Scanner” below.
8. License Grant to Sneaker Scanner
By using Sneaker Scanner and its related apps, websites, and services (the “Services”), you grant to Sneaker Scanner, its successors, and assigns a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and/or distribute any content you submit, create, or make available through the Services — including without limitation the photos and images you upload for identification; the notes, descriptions, locations, and other text you provide with them; the identifications, descriptions, estimates, and any other output produced by the Services at your direction; any collections, lists, or albums you assemble, including their names and the selection and arrangement of the items they contain; and your profile information, including your username, display name, profile picture, bio, and any links you add — regardless of whether an identification’s or collection’s visibility is public or private. This includes the right to display your uploaded photos and identifications on the community feed, on encyclopedia, species, tag, and search pages, on the websites and apps of Sneaker Scanner and its affiliates, and in marketing for the Services. For clarity, changing an identification’s or a collection’s visibility from public to private does not revoke or limit the license granted under this section with respect to that identification, that collection, or any content associated with it. The license granted to Sneaker Scanner remains in effect even after termination of this Agreement by any party, for any reason.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sneaker Scanner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
